Help
save the lives of
homeless and unwanted
cats and dogs.
Each year,
between 8,000 and 10,000 cats and dogs come into
Buncombe County's animal shelter, operated by
Asheville Humane Society. Many of these animals are
homeless or unwanted. As a community, we urgently
need to control our animal population.
A coalition of
animal rescue and welfare organizations have joined
with Buncombe County to help save the lives of
animals. We're "LifeGuards"
in the SAVE A LIFE Campaign.
Our goal is
simple but essential: to save the life of every
healthy adoptable cat and dog in Buncombe
County. We need your help to do
that.
Review this
website for ways you can help. Then please become a
"LifeSaver"
and do whatever you can. And encourage your family
and friends to be LifeSavers, too.
Working together
with you, we'll be able to maintain a healthy
balance between people and the cats and dogs we all
love. Please help us SAVE
A LIFE.
